Aidentika Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data the Aidentika mobile app ("Aidentika", "the app") collects, why, who receives it, how long it is kept and how you can delete it. Aidentika is an app for marketplace sellers: you upload a photo of a product and the app generates product photos and product cards with the help of artificial intelligence.
The app is published by Jesica Munder, an individual developer based in the Netherlands ("we", "us"), who is the data controller. Contact: Jesicamun21@icloud.com.
- The photos and texts you submit are sent to an AI provider to produce your images. They are not used for advertising.
- The product photos you upload are deleted automatically after 30 days. Your results stay until you delete them or your account.
- You can use the app without registering. Sign in with Apple is optional.
- We do not sell personal data, do not show third-party ads and do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- You can delete your account and all its data inside the app at any time.
1. Data we collect
Account
- An anonymous account identifier, created automatically the first time you open the app.
- If you choose Sign in with Apple: your Apple account identifier and the email address Apple gives us (it can be Apple's private relay address if you choose to hide your email). We do not receive your Apple password.
Content you provide
- Product photos you take with the camera or pick from your photo library. The app only receives the photos you select; it does not read the rest of your library.
- Texts you enter: product names, benefits, descriptions and instructions for the AI.
- The images generated for you, your projects and their names, and the ratings you give to results.
Purchases
- Which subscription or spark pack you bought, transaction identifiers, purchase and expiry dates, trial status, price, currency and App Store country.
- Your balance of sparks and how they were spent.
Payments are processed by Apple. We never receive your card number or other payment details.
Device and technical data
- A device identifier for this app's vendor (IDFV) and an app attestation issued by Apple, used to protect the service from abuse and to grant the welcome sparks once per device.
- Device model, iOS version, app version, language, and country or region.
- IP address, which our service providers process when the app connects to them.
- A push notification token and the notification language, if you allow notifications.
- Crash reports and performance diagnostics.
App usage and attribution
- Events inside the app that are needed to run it and to understand how it is used, such as a generation being started or a purchase being completed.
- Information about how the app was installed (for example, from which campaign or App Store page).
What we do not collect
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, health data, browsing history or the advertising identifier (IDFA). The app does not track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.
2. How we use data
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Generating images and cards, storing your projects | Photos, texts, results, account identifier | Performance of a contract |
| Selling and delivering subscriptions and spark packs, restoring purchases, handling refunds | Purchase data, account identifier | Performance of a contract; legal obligation |
| Telling you that a result is ready | Push token, language | Consent (iOS notification permission) |
| Preventing fraud and abuse of free sparks | Device identifier, app attestation, IP address | Legitimate interests |
| Fixing crashes and improving stability | Crash reports, diagnostics, device data | Legitimate interests |
| Understanding how the app is used and improving it (which features are used, how long generations take, how results are rated) | App usage events, account identifier, device data | Legitimate interests |
| Measuring installs, subscriptions and the effectiveness of our own marketing | Device identifier (IDFV), install source, purchase events | Legitimate interests |
| Answering your support requests | Your email and message, account identifier | Legitimate interests |
We do not use your photos, texts or results for advertising, and we do not use them to train our own AI models. We do not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects by automated means.
3. Artificial intelligence
To produce a result, the app sends the photo you selected and the texts you entered to our servers and then to KIE.ai, a provider of AI image and text generation, and to the AI model providers it uses. They process this content to return the generated image or text. Please do not upload photos that contain people's faces, documents or other personal information that is not needed for a product picture.
Generated images are produced by AI and may be inaccurate. You are responsible for checking them before publishing them on a marketplace.
4. Who receives data
We share data only with the service providers that are needed to run the app:
| Provider | What it does | Data |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase and Google Cloud (privacy) | Accounts, database, file storage, server code, abuse protection, crash reports, push delivery, app usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) | All the data described above |
| KIE.ai (privacy) | AI image and text generation | Photos and texts you submit, generated results |
| Apple (privacy) | Sign in with Apple, App Store payments, push notifications | Account identifier, purchases, push token |
| Apphud (privacy) | Subscription status and purchase analytics | Purchase data, account and device identifiers, device data, IP address |
| AppsFlyer (privacy) | Install attribution and measurement of our marketing | Device identifier (IDFV), device data, IP address, install source, purchase events |
We do not sell personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We may disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of users. If the app is transferred to another owner, your data may be transferred with it under the terms of this policy.
5. Where data is stored
Data is stored and processed on servers in the European Union and the United States, and by the providers listed above in the countries where they operate. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the providers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
6. How long we keep data
- Product photos you upload: deleted automatically 30 days after upload.
- Generated results, projects and account data: until you delete them or delete your account.
- Push tokens: until you delete your account or the token stops working.
- Crash reports: up to 90 days.
- Purchase records: when you delete your account they are detached from it; the record of the transaction itself is kept without your account identifier for as long as accounting, tax and anti-fraud rules require.
- A record that the welcome sparks were granted on a device is kept to prevent repeated claims.
7. Deleting your data
You can delete your account in the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, projects, uploaded photos, results, balance and push tokens from our systems. Deleting the account does not cancel a subscription: subscriptions are managed in your Apple account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
You can also ask us to delete your data by writing to Jesicamun21@icloud.com.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time (for example, by turning off notifications in iOS Settings). To use these rights, write to us at the address above; we reply within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as these terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. Children
Aidentika is a tool for sellers and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access to it is restricted, and requests to our servers are accepted only from the genuine app. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The new version is published on this page with a new effective date; if the changes are significant we will also tell you in the app.
